Ant Eggs in Honey-Hive Shade is another collection of poems from Diganta Ray. It is the outcome of the churning that life produces in one’s veins, heart and emotional field. Passing experiences may seem frivolous, inconsequential, negligible and even forgettable. Yet, the validity of the experience and its thrills and throes encapsulate one in its layers of conjectures and ruminations that hide deeply felt affections. Diganta Ray’s Ant Eggs in Honey-Hive Shade is a writing that deserves a closer scrutiny for understanding better the submerged possibilities of unveiling life-experience in all its transparency.

Diganta Ray is an undergraduate student of  Salesian College, Siliguri Campus.  He is enrolled in the Department of English. He has previously self-published a short anthology of poems entitled The Broken Mirror and also written several other poems like ‘When a Hindu Goes to a Church’, ‘The Old Man Prayer’, ‘A Morning Storm’,  Stolen Sights, The Caged Kings’ etcetera.
