Additional information

Dear Friends,

How the months fly, not to speak of weeks and days. So we are back to December soon, and another year is coming to its end.

Well, it has been a year of fruitful journeys and accomplishments. Many of you have been extremely busy in your own work and with family commitments. Yet, it is so encouraging to see each month, someone or the other, taking time off to share their thoughts, experiences, and recollections to their friends of SCS old or new, in and through this AlumNews.

As a college community we were specially privileged and feel grateful, we could honour one alumnus, and a former principal, in the person of Fr. Dr. Peter Lourdes, sdb, an internationally known psychotherapist, by bringing out his doctoral dissertation, in the form of the book, The Clash. It is his own take on the eastern meditation practice, TM, as a therapeutic intervention for counseling and the problem it poses theoretically.

Please do place an order, in case you are academically oriented or in case you want to contribute to this publishing venture of the Salesian college, which is entirely counting on the contributions from his students, while he was a principal in Sonada.

Wishing you all good health, and cheer,

Fr. George Thadathil
Principal, Salesian College
