The Triumph of Failure: John Henry Newman is a biography of Blessed John Henry Newman, a mystic and for a time a leader of national proportions of the established Church of England and later a convert to Catholicism. Newman’s motto for his coat-of –arms: CoradCor Loquitur (Heart speaks to heart), is his spiritually in a nutshell. The heart-beat of the Divine in him was the romance of his entire life, the secret of his power that drew people of opposite schools of opinions and various philosophies, the young and the old, the orthodox and the modern towards him. This eloquent witness to Christ who lived a bloodless martyrdom, void of sham and ambition, living in communion with God while remaining alive to the problems of his age in the Church and in the society and could achieve intellectual and spiritual certainties for himself and for the collective existence of humanity was beatified in September 2010 by Pope Benedict XVI. Blessed Cardinal Newman is worthy to take his place among the saints and scholars such as St Bede, St Hilda, St Aelred, and Blessed Duns Scouts.
