Christmas 2019 is with us. A year on its way out and the New waiting to take wings. A season that reminds of the changes occurring in life, be it in nature or in the human affairs of commitments made on our journey to bring others to safety, satisfaction, and fulfillment.
On behalf of all of us at the two campuses looking back at the hundreds of little encounters we created for others and one another, to make life ‘thrilling’, ‘contented’, and ‘’ meaningful’ I like to say Happy Christmas and Happy New Year.
The sense of hope, joy, and peace that symbolizes the season of new birth and the arrival of the person of significance into our lives make the bidding good bye to the old and the tried and tested possible.
Those in the service or ministry of education cannot but feel the urge and the energy of the season because one has to constantly feel the pulse of the students, their mode of coping with, and encountering the challenges they face. The E ducator s stand by and witness the growth of the young person through the travails of efforts, failed, and those that succeeded beyond expectation.
The child in the cradle with its weakness and immaculate smile is symbolic of the hope that accompanies us in a world that is mired in flaws and yet we survive to live another year with the hope that we can make a difference in the lives of those whom we serve and thereby in ours too.
May this season of Christmas and Holidays take us to the threshold of aNE W YEAR.
