Dear Friends from Bhutan,
Yes, as quite a few of you have reminisced, its almost as if a dream-like existence had been gone through those years in Sonada. The mountains and the mist, the quiet ambience and the hectic lifestyle, in an out of the way locale, with no cities and restaurants around, probably contributed to the kind of special feel those days and years had on most of you.
I recall with special thanks, Chencho who was one of the first to have come and the dexterity with which he guided all the students from Bhutan and even the others in moments of crisis. His talents and leadership continue to shine in the field of his choice – film acting and film making.
Similarly, each one, those who have contributed and others, has made a mark in their respective fields and places of work. Congratulations to each one of you, and we do look forward to greater contact and interaction over the years ahead.
We all stand to gain, in our youthfulness and ability to cope with life, in just being connected, networked and occasionally daring to visit the past friends not only virtually, but truly and really.
Welcome to the Salesian Alumni Network. Your suggestions are most welcome.
