Innovision, 2017 opened with appreciation from Father (Dr.) Mathew Pulingathil, Rector, Siliguri campus who took the opportunity to impart a few words of wisdom, as he enlightens the students and the staff members, on every occasion of the college with his words. Before declaring the Innovision 2017 open, he was heard quoting, “one thing tops the list, and that is the integrity of character. You either have it or you don’t. People with character get more respect in life than others. The bottom line is everything you do, displays your character.” He further spoke about students’ and faculty members’ laborious efforts from early morning till ten at night in the making of the event, displaying integrity of character. He assured that one day, “sound will become songs, a smile will become laughter and life will become a celebration. So try hard and one day you’ll be celebrated.” Father Rector asked, “don’t be sad if someone is not noticing when you are performing on the stage, life is good, just try to make it beautiful.” He then declared the fest open.
